JACFA Executive

As President, Faye is responsible for all General Assemblies and Executive meetings. She is in charge of the JACFA office, is JACFA News editor and she co-handles parental rights issues with Candis. She should be contacted for daily Faculty Association business. She is a teacher in the English Department.

Jim is our Internal Vice-President and chief labour relations spokesperson with the administration. He handles legal issues, grievances and matters of contractual interpretation. Contact him if you have questions about the different types of leaves available to teachers. He is a teacher of Political Science in the History, Economics and Political Science Department.

Alex is the JACFA Treasurer, managing our funds and preparing the annual financial statement. He is the JACFA webmaster and also handles pensions and FondAction. He teaches in the Mathematics Department.

Ute is our representative for the FNEEQ group insurance plans, liaison with Academic Council, our Health and Safety representative as well as our Social co-Director, with Candis. She teaches in the Nursing Department.

Daniel is our External Vice-President and main JACFA delegate to FNEEQ and the CSN. He chairs the Quality Education Committee. He teaches in the French Department.

Ed is the JACFA Secretary, taking the minutes at our JACFA Executive meetings and General Assemblies, and is our International Action representative. He teaches History in the History, Economics and Political Science Department.

Candis helps organizing JACFA's social events with Ute as our Social co-Director, and co-handles parental rights issues with Faye. She teaches Humanities in the Humanities, Philosophy and Religion department.

Louise is our Administrative Assistant. Her office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Louise keeps the the JACFA office (Penfield 105) organized and coordinates Faculty Lounge bookings. Contact her with any questions about our association.
